The Shame of Innocence

Jan 13, 2017 | Publications

The Shame of Innocence was published by SilverWood Books in November 2016, in paperback and as an eBook. A crime novel set in Wiltshire, it features D I Jeff Lincoln, and concerns the murders of two teenage girls and the disappearance of a third.

The pursuit of the killer – or killers – is set against the backdrop of corruption in local government in Barbury, and the involvement of property developer Donal Finnegan in the refurbishment of empty buildings in the town. Lincoln doesn’t think much of Finnegan but can he trust his instincts or is he letting his own prejudice cloud his judgement?  And how is librarian Trish Whittington mixed up in all of this?

The Shame of Innocence is the first novel to carry the logo of Silver Crow Books, Frome Writers’ Collective‘s very own brand.
