Looking forward to talking at Yeovil Library  on Friday 13th October, as part of Somerset Libraries’ National Libraries Week celebrations. And what a week it’s been! I’ve already seen the evidence of libraries’ importance: at Wells Library last Saturday, when their Space event left very little space to move! And at Frome Library last Sunday, when local organisations drew crowds of interested folk who were then entertained by the Frukes, Frome’s uplifting ukulele band. Libraries have always been at the heart of their community, and can be again, despite all the funding cuts and… No, I won’t go on!

So – Friday, I’ll be talking about how I turned to crime, and with any luck, I’ll be introducing a few more people to Detective Inspector Jeff Lincoln and his team.
