I’ve been busy this month, with a new book group at Axbridge – Books, Bakes and Banter – and planning for more book fairs and author talks. I took part in an online conference – on the crime panel – and found the Q & A really interesting. I took a bit of a break from writing over Christmas and New Year – stressed-out by publishing Directions For Murder and all that it involved! – but I’ve now embarked on the seventh DI Jeff Lincoln novel. As always, it’s set in Wiltshire, in and around Barbury, which is my version of Salisbury, and I won’t say too much about it yet because I’m always afraid that’ll jink it!
